Every seven seasons, the trees within the Shado-pan Monastery bloom crimson – a sign that those who wish to join the secretive order must pass through a grueling ordeal known as the Trial of Red Blossoms. Only those rare and favored few that survive may have a chance of one day calling themselves Shado-pan.

Some hopefuls seek glory. Others seek battle.
For one young pandaren thief, the Trial is a punishment for his crimes, a stay of execution, and a chance at redemption.

     In the grand scheme of things, Guild Wars 2's guesting isn't a feature that will add new content or new ways to play the game. But it will allow you to play more easily with friends on other realms, and that's been welcomed by some players. Star Wars: The Old Republic's upcoming reputation system might just be adding titles, but more titles mean a lot to some players. Final Fantasy XIV allows you to jump, and if you played the game for a year beforehand, you'll be looking forward to that addition.

    Sometimes, what matters isn't the big things that get you addicted to a game but the little elements that improve your overall experience. Cosmetic flourishes, nice-looking equipment, convenience and quality-of-life upgrades -- none of them makes the game good or bad, but sometimes they bring a bigger grin than actual content or systems. Pets join the battle in new Vindictus video

     What's better than forging into battle against demons and dragons in Vindictus? How about forging in with your very own death-dealing pet fighting right by your side? The latest addition to the free-to-play fantasy MMORPG is the Gremlin pet: a ferocious companion that aids in battle and helps loot the spoils afterwards.

    So what fearsome visage to do these fierce fighters have? Nexon's video reveals Gremlins as furry little floppy-eared bunny/birds (or is it a bird/bunnies?). But don't let the cuteness fool you; they are killers! And every player can have one, regardless of class. Gremlins come in three types, each with its own attitude: Tiny Gremlin, Punk Gremlin, and Armor Gremlin.

DOFUS : Foggernauts' Steam Class Preview

    DOFUS is one of those games that just keeps growing and getting better over time. We recently had the opportunity to check ou the Foggernauts' Steam Class and have a full report for your reading pleasure. See what you think and then leave us a comment or two.

    I got to take the new Foggernauts' Steam class for a spin and check out its technomagical abilities and turret-based combat. Foggernauts are billed as being "technomagical tacticians," and distinguish themselves by creating danger zones and defensive zones on the battlefield with their turrets. These zones work much as advertised, in that danger zones are areas in which a turret will do damage, whereas defensive zones allow for healing. Foggernauts utilize three types of turrets, namely, the "Harpooner," "Lifesaver," and "Tacturret," but can also do direct damage themselves while pushing or pulling enemies around in combat. Additionally, the Foggernaut class sports a bunch of buff spells, and does best in melee combat when equipped with hammers or shovels. dofus account
